How to apply for Medicare?

Get Medicare insurance when you are first eligible! The actual enrollment into original Medicare Parts A & B is handled by the Social Security Administration (SSA) office. Otherwise, you can apply for your original Medicare card by contacting the Social Security office at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778).
